Hi, I’m Brett! I’ve been called to teach God’s Word, make disciples, and develop leaders. I’m passionate about seeing everyone connect with Jesus and His mission. In addition to being a pastor, my family spent five years working with refugees in Athens (2007-2012). You can learn more about our time in Athens here. I’m a graduate of North Park University (Chicago, IL; B.A. Sociology), Lincoln Christian Seminary (Lincoln, IL; M.Div Theology), and Northern Seminary (Lombard, IL; D.Min New Testament Context).

My wife (Kristin) and I met at North Park, and have been married since 2005. As the father of four young girls, I spend most of my free time playing with dolls and protecting princesses from imaginary dragons.  But I also enjoy Chicago sports, jogging, and grilled meats.

I’d love to hear a bit about you. Leave a comment on a blog post, or feel free to connect on social media.  As you’re exploring the site, you’ll find recent blog posts here, which concern all things gospel, missions, and leadership. My passion for these themes was largely born out of my work with refugees in Athens – so one corner of the site is dedicated as a record of our time there. And, just for a rainy day, you can also find more about sermons I’ve preached. Thanks for reading!
